on a PC computer with security software installed
On computers with security software installed you will loose all changes made on the computer when the computer restarts.
How can I tell if this software is installed?
Look on the Task Bar (which is usually in the lower right corner). If you see a Polar Bear head, the software is installed.
Where should I save files so they don’t disappear?
Save everything in the T: drive.
Dragon Dictate files should go in T:\NaturallySpeaking9\Users\username folder
Your desktop shortcut “My Docs” should be set to to T:/
If you or your students do not use the T: drive, everything you save will be deleted when the computer restarts !
